The subway is for taking pics in toronto. Anyways, we were on our way to watch the screening of the Bangladesh Documentery film at the Uuniversity of Toronto , called "Deshantori." Films like these are good for the Bangladeshi Film culture. Hope all of you get to see this movie too and since most of us are living abroad , this move had a strong connection with us. Its director is a Harvard graduate , who went to work for the ministry of planning in Bangladesh. He then went on to work for other NGOs. He flew in from the states to be at the screening and talked to us about his experiences and answered questions about the film. if he gets enough funding and recognition , he could very well be the next Micheal Moore of Bangladesh. I actually went and told him that myself.

Madame Tussaud's

We went to the Madame Tussaud's on 31st, here are sum of the pics. mum ddnt like the Aguilera one, she cudnt believe the tattoo on the tail bone.. hahahaha..

Anyways, thats priyanka a friend of hossain's from waterloo who was kind enough to come down for our night out in the town.

she's a transfer student from Brac University studying architecture and that's where i did classes last summer and apparently she knows a couple of people i know, so it was fun talkin to her.

The photo on the left was taken around the 3rd week of december when we went ice skating on Nathan Philips Square, which is kind of like the times square ( NY ) of Toronto.

T-DOT , is the name some people use to for Toronto. The yellow pic where we are all sitting in a circle and i am on the left was taken the day i arrived form London. We were playing something like the 'win lose or draw' game. The other pic with some of the same people was taken after the Eid. I am on the left of that pic. Most of these people are part of the BSF ( Bangladesh Student Federation of York ) and Hossain's a part of that too.

On the other side is the USA. It's sad that I didnt get to take photos in windsor. I used to live right across the river from Detroit.

Anyways, this pic was taken when Mona Matin took us to Niagra.

Hossain on the right. it was freezing cold and the waterfall is huge. It snowed 8 inches early in october in that area. unbelievable weather.
